"Climate Change"
Climate change is brought about by the build-up of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which significantly changes the normal or expected weather patterns and conditions in a specific region of the E
arClimate change is a tangible problem and its existence can no longer be denied. It is one of the most important scientific, economic threats facing to the earth. There are many factors lead to climate change, such as greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, fossil fuels. Although it would be self-deception to believe that humans had nothing to do with it, the fact is that human activities caused negative effects on climate change. More people exploit more natural resources, cut more trees, use more fossil fuels, produce more wastes, build more roads, dams and cities, pollute more soil, water and air, and contribute more greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, which may lead to the ozone depletion and global warming, i.e., ultimately damaging the entire environment and annoying the climatic change. Thus, man is capable of influencing global climate deliberately or inadvertently through his various actions and activities.
Because CO2 and other greenhouse gases are so long-lived in the atmosphere, enhanced greenhouse warming can be expected to persist for centuries. The impacts - many of which are effectively irreversible - will affect everyone on earth. Human health, patterns and intensity of precipitation, water and food supplies, coastal development, energy supplies, and the viability of natural systems: all will be affected if Earth's climate continues to change.
However, all of us can play vital part of the climate change solution. As a citizen, we can ensure that governments recognize the importance of global warming and follow through on their promises. As a consumer, we can support companies that are making the biggest strides in fighting climate change and encourage other companies to make reducing greenhouse gases a priority. If we’re really passionate about having our voice heard, we might even want to consider joining a group dedicated to spreading the world about global warming.

SCIENTRICITY:ENERGIZING Science Clubbers for SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
The Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC), the first and largest umbrella science club organization, in its 41st year of unfaltering expertise, proudly presents an electrifying September-long activity that will leave you charged up. With the theme, “SCIENTRICITY: Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy”.
Sustainable energy is the sustainable provision
of energy that meets the needs of the present without compromising
the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Technologies that
promote sustainable energy include renewable energy sources, such as
hydroelectricity, solar energy, wind energy, wave power, geothermal
energy, and tidal power, and also technologies designed to improve energy
efficiency. Sustainable Energy is changing the way the world installs
solar power, with innovative solutions to enhance energy output from solar
power systems. Sustainable Energy Solutions promotes the increased use and
deployment of clean energy technologies and services as a means to support
economic development and reduce poverty in developing countries.
Whenever you save energy, you not only
save money, you also reduce the demand for such fossil fuels as coal,
oil, and
natural gas. Less burning of fossil fuels also means lower emissions of
carbon
dioxide (CO2), the primary contributor to global warming, and other
pollutants. We should not waste energy! We should Conserve it! Because
this is also for our own good......most especially to our ENVIRONMENT.

"My Teacher My Hero"
There are countless definitions of heroes today. Is it a superstar who used his fame and fortune to help the needy in his hometown? Is it a firefighter who sees no danger in all circumstances just to save lives of people? Is it an Overseas Filipino Worker who is ready to bear the pain of being alone just to provide his family a comfortable life? But what really makes a person a hero?
There are heroes and heroines, national and local. Some of them are born, others are made. Many are still living while may others have long been gone.It is to the latter that monuments and museums were built to keep alive their memories in our hearts and mind.Public buildings, parks and plazas, streets and few cities and provinces have been named after them.Important dates and events are usually marked red in the calendar to remind us of their birth or death anniversary.During the celebration of these events, program speaker take turns extolling to high heavens whatever good they had done for the country. But behind all these great people are strong foundations that guide, develop.and mold them all throughout. They are the teachers!!!
What else can we think of when teachers are mentioned?Their understanding, hardships, advice and care for us students. And of course, lectures, new lessons, quizzes and assignments! Those memories when they came about to tell stories and jokes with us students.Their "SERMONS" to us during times when we were disobedient,or lazy to pass our assignments. It's their continuous patience and hard works for us that make them our hero. However, education is one of the greatest gift mankind can ever receive. It is vital to anybody. What could be in a school without our teachers? There would be no students as well that in fact, students will not be able to go to school and learn what they are supposed to learn. There will be ignorance.Having our teachers we were able to learn and understand things easier and quicker.Because of their teachings a lot of people have reached and accomplished their goals in life.
Teachers don't only teach theories to us but they are also sources of moral teachings.Inside and outside the campus.our teachers are our models. In relation to health and wellness, the teacher is expected to have and project a good state of both mental and physical health.Teachers are treasures in society;let us help them be at their best so that they too can help bring out the best in our children,in their students. Our second parents, our teachers have helped a lot in the contribution of our success. They will forever be a treasure. This teacher's day was a good way of expressing gratitude to our beloved teachers whom are the reasons why we have accomplished most of what we have accomplished until present. However,we should not only express our warmest thanks to our teachers during 5th day of the month of October but it should always be done.THANK YOU TEACHERS!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

"My SuperMOM"
Have you ever wondered what a true hero is like??? Everyone in the world has a different opinion about what a hero is. When people say hero, they usually think of cartoon characters like superman, spider man,or Sponge Bob. They come in many shapes, sizes, have different characteristics, values, and beliefs. But for me,a hero is someone who is willing to put a hundred percent effort into protecting you from pain. They will stop at nothing to provide you with the security of safety and will share with you the knowledge required for survival. A hero doesn't have to have impeccable character, high importance in society,or have a classic sandwich named after them in local pub. A hero just needs to be someone who cares for your happiness and loves you for being your self. My Mother is my hero.
My "MOM" is caring, encouraging, and she loves me. I won't be able to make it to today if she had never taught me all those lessons of life. My mom cares for my family and me. She cares about my school work as well as Housework. My Grandma once told me that when my mom was my age,she took care of my aunts and uncles before she get to have a time of her own. She is always willing to help others on their time of needs. When I accidentally broke something, she's the first person I came to. Whenever things go wrong, she is the one that I trust the most. My mom is always encouraging me to do well in school and at home. She keeps telling me not to give up no matter how complicated and intricate objective is. My mom is always encouraging me not to step down the stairs of life. When I bring home a bad grade, she always gently talk to me and expected me to do better. Sometimes,I got irate because she expected too much out of me,but at the end,I realize that she was always be there for me when I need her. My mom loves me ever since she carried me and she always will be for the rest of her life. She never did tell me,but somewhere deep inside. I know it was love. Even though sometimes I talk back at her,I know that I will always be her sweetheart. My mom loves me for who I am and she will love me if I changed. My mom is always willing to sacrifice her self for my family and me. Sometimes I catch myself, hating her,but the truth is I hated myself for disobeying her. My mom is a wonderful person.
My mother is a wonderful woman. She's the best mom that I could ever have. She's the one person in my life that I could trust the most. I could tell my mom anything in the world and she'll understand me. I'm glad that she is my mom. I LOVE MY MOM!!! :) SHE IS MY HERO!!!....I'm lucky because I have a mom like you mom.

"Tatag ng Wikang Filipino,Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino"
Language is very important to all of us,especially to all country. It is important that you have your own language,so that you will understand each other and with the use of your own language they can easily tell where you came from or where country do you belong with.
"Ako ay Pilipino, ako ay Pilipino isang bansa isang diwa ang minimithi ko sa bayan ko't bandila laan buhay ko't diwa ako ay pilipino pilipinong totoo"..Every time I hear this song that the person who made this is proud that he is a Pilipino and he have a filipino language..I am very happy that there is a person that is not a shame of what he is like me,I'm proud that I am a pilipino and I am proud that I have my own language to show the word that I'm a pilipino and I will show them that every pilipino have a hidden talent that can amaze anyone. We should love our own language because your like a fish that smell bad if your a shame that your a pilipino, being pilipino is not a crime, anyone should be proud of his/her self that she/he is a "PILIPINO"..
Our filipino language will make our country more progressive if we know how to use it in proper way.We need to be proud that we are pilipino and "FILIPINO" is our language..."I am PILIPINO and I'm proud of myself"...:)

"PAGKAIN NG GULAY UGALIIN,ARAW-ARAW ITONG IHAIN"
Many of us today is not eating fruits vegetables,Why???Because of the bad food that many people like to eat,we call it "JUNK FOOD",even we know that this food is not good to our health we still eat it because we only buy it in cheaper cost and we love the taste of it even it is not safe for us to eat..Why are we still eating this food???Let us stop it before its to late..This food make our body weak and we are easily to get sick because of it...Instead of eating this we should eat vegetables and fruits because its good to our health, come and I will tell you something about of the importance of it.... :)
Vegetables and fruits are very important to one of us in this world,I'm sure without the nutrients that they give to us all the people in the world will always sick and weak,we are easy to die if we don't eat this food because we need the nutrients that they have,we should eat vegetables so that we are far from sickness specially now its rainy season many diseases are attacking,we should take good care of our body by simply eating nutritious food like fruits and vegetables, this food gave us energy we need everyday for us to live longer..So fruits and vegetables have an important rule to us....
So what are we waiting for???Let us eat fruits and vegetables now!:),throw away those "JUNK FOOD" so that we live longer and far from diseases....
PRESIDENT NOYNOY AQUINO,3RD "SONA" STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS
The State of the Nation Adress (Sona) is an annual event in the Philippines where the President addresses the status of the nation. This is similar to the State of the Union in the United States. On July 26, 2011 President Aquino "Noynoy" stated his 3rd SONA at BATASANG PAMBANSA. He said getting rid of the use of the wang-wang (which symbolized abuse of authority) is a major step in changing the Philippines. The Philippine's still has exclusive sovereignty over the South China Sea aka. "West Philippine Sea".The government is fighting hunger and poverty--with survey showing hunger decreasing from 20.5% to 15.1% from May to June.Business and the economy in the Philippines are improving as evidenced by a boom in investors and new businesses.Aquino encouraged citizens to pay the proper amount in taxes. The nation is increasing security and the people are "ready to protect themselves".
No mention of OFWs in Aquino’s SONA speaks volumes
For Migrante International, Pres. Benigno Aquino III’s failure to address the sorry state of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) is telling.
“It could only mean two things: Aquino had no gall to brag about so-called achievements for our 12 to 15 million overseas Filipinos when there really were none, or it was an admission that the government had done nothing and has no plans to alleviate the dismal state of OFWs,” said Garry Martinez, Migrante International chairperson.
Martinez said that unlike previous SONAs speeches, this year’ SONA did not even bother to belie the government’s implementation of a labor export policy, nor did it extol concerned agencies such as the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
He said that while they are admittedly “dismayed” by the non-mention of OFWs, they were not expecting much from the SONA. “Hindi na kayang magpanggap ng gobyerno sa usapin ng mga OFWs. Lantad na lantad na kasi ang kasinungalingan at kawalang-aksyon nito para protektahan at bigyang-serbisyo ang mga kababayan natin sa ibang bansa.”
”Despite his promises and posturing, without doubt, Aquino is cut out of the same mold as a modern-day slave trader. Increasingly millions of migrants Filipinos are seeing through this. For OFWs, wala namang nagbago. We now see Aquino’s promises and posturing for what they are. Lies, nothing but lies,” Martinez said.
He added that what they would have wanted to hear was “a categorical statement that the government would decisively deviate from a policy of labor export by creating domestic jobs, addressing massive landlessness and providing much-needed social services”.
There is no genuine service and welfare protection for OFWs, he said. “Because of the Aquino administration’s desperation to further seek job markets abroad due to the country’s worsening economic situation brought about by its unreformed policies, its only recourse has been to intensify its labor export program. It has become clearer that the labor export policy is nothing but a big business venture from which the government profits, at the expense of OFWs’ rights and welfare.”
He is a good president but he don't mention about ofw's...I hope he will be arrange the problem about it...
